Application:

In the construction industry, it can be used to make scaffolds, stair treads, steel beams, etc. In the field of machinery manufacturing, it can make parts such as gearboxes and flanges. In transportation, it can be used as materials such as carriage plates and frames. For agricultural machinery, such as some parts of harvesters, Q235 carbon steel plates are also used. In addition, it is also applied in some simple steel structure facilities such as warehouse shelves.

Strength:

Ductility: has good ductility. Hardness: hardness is relatively low.

Chemical properties:

Main components: mainly iron (Fe), carbon content of about 0.12 – 0.20%, and a small amount of manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), etc. Oxidation resistance: Oxidation resistance is acceptable at room temperature. Corrosion resistance: Corrosion resistance is average. For example, in building construction, the good ductility of Q235 carbon steel plate is easy to process and install; but when used in humid and corrosive environments, anti-rust treatment is required to improve its durability.
