Physical properties:

1. Density: about 7.98 g/cm ³. This gives it a larger mass at the same volume.  For example, density is an important parameter when calculating its load-bearing capacity in mechanical structures.

2. Melting point: about 1400-1455 ° C, with a high melting point, it can maintain structural stability in high temperature environments. In high-temperature industrial applications, such as components in a furnace, it is not easy to melt due to high temperatures.

3. Coefficient of thermal expansion: low, about 15 × 10/℃. A small coefficient of thermal expansion means that its dimensional change is relatively small when the temperature changes.  This is important for applications requiring high precision and dimensional stability.

4. Resistivity: approximately 0.78 Ω · mm ²/m, with average electrical conductivity.

 

Chemical properties:

1. Main ingredients: chromium (Cr) content of about 24 – 26%, nickel (Ni) content of about 19 – 22%. High chromium content makes it have good oxidation resistance, high nickel content helps to improve corrosion resistance. – For example, in high temperature oxidation environment, chromium can form a stable oxide film protective material.

2. Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance to a variety of acid, alkali and salt solutions. In the chemical industry, it can be used for pipes and containers for storing and transporting corrosive media.

3. Oxidation resistance: It can effectively resist oxidation at high temperatures and form a dense oxide layer. Commonly used in high-temperature heating equipment, such as heating elements in industrial furnaces.

4. Stability: The chemical composition is stable, and phase change and element precipitation are not easy to occur under normal use conditions. Guaranteed long-term reliability of its performance.
